HAPPY NEW YEAR AND WELCOME BACK
Well another year has gone by, but not before we had our Christmas holiday gathering. We had so many door prizes that everyone went home with 2 or 3 prizes. We dispensed with a formal meeting and just had fun and did I mention the food, my taste buds are hopping all over again. There were a few dishes that we would like to have the recipe for, so if you could please bring the recipe to the meeting this month it would be greatly appreciated.

We do have a sad note though Nancy Wright announced that she is retiring this year, so we will need a new treasurer. If you have been with us for a while and would like to run for treasurer, please contact someone from the election committee and give them your information. We will have our election at our February meeting.

ELECTION COMMITTEE
The following members make up our election committee: Dorothy Bergeron, Marcie Cavalier, Connie Gaines, and Godfrey Boquet. If you are interested in becoming an officer or board director please submit your nomination to one of these members before the February meeting. Voting takes place at the February 2012 meeting. The term is for two years. The current officers are Patricia (Patty) Whitney, President; Louis Duet, Vice President, Nancy Wright, Treasurer; Sheila Rodrigue, Recording Secretary; and Jess Bergeron, Correspondence Secretary. The current Board of Directors are Ronald Berger, Sandra Boudreaux, Philip (Phil) Chauvin, Jr., and Wanda Moore.
