NEXT MEETING:
      July 31, 2010 — 1:00 p.m.
Main Branch Library: 151 Library Dr. Houma , LA

Have you have ever wondered how to get a copy of a birth, marriage or death record from Father Hebert's books? Well, if it a catholic church, we have just the place for you to go!! It is the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux, Archives & Historical Research Center and the Archivist; Kevin Allemand was the speaker at our last meeting. If you don't remember, Kevin has been a speaker before and he came back to give us an update to what he, the staff & volunteers have done so far. You can go there and do research and there is a set of Rev. Hebert's books among many other books for you to use while doing your research. He has over thousands of records that they have put into the computer while combining records, such as a birth, marriage & death record of the same person. Now is that a treasure or what. Everything you need in one place. It can't get any better than this. Stop by and visit them at 205 Audubon Ave. , Thibodaux , Louisiana 70301 . The office hours are from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. You may phone (985) 446-2383) or e-mail the research center at kallemand@htdiocese.org . They are looking forward to see you.
